چکیده
Chromium is a toxic heavy metal abundantly present in the environment, specifically groundwater. The groundwater Saudi Arabia was assessed for presence; chromium detected at high concentration Madinah. Many researchers have used various bioprocesses over last few decades to mitigate Cr(VI) toxicity. genus Pseudomonas member putida widely dispersed natural environment. P. chromate-resistant and has chromate reduction rate. Bioremediation procedures can eradicate most potently metal, Cr(VI), water, air, soil. Chromate reductase (ChrR) bacterial enzyme from that be utilized bioremediation remove environment cost-effective environmentally safe approach. To comprehend role of ChrR reducing Cr(III), thorough sequence analysis followed by constructing models wild-type mutants applying several homology modeling techniques. protein structure quality generated evaluated, best model adopted further optimization employing an energy minimization technique. Molecular docking studies investigated intra-molecular interaction between mutant Cr(VI). Our study novel method determining 3D with convert it less hazardous form (III). Additionally, provides stable mutants: Arg83Trp, Gly124Ile, His127Trp, binding affinity which considered engineering produce efficacious enzymes reduce form.

Nine bacterial colonies were screened for the Cr(VI) removal efficiency and out of these three bacterial strains Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus sp. were isolated from soil and used to remove Cr(VI) from aqueous solution. The effect of time and concentrations on the removal rate of hexavalent chromium were studied using batch experiment. Maximum Cr (VI) removal was noted...

متن کاملPurification to homogeneity and characterization of a novel Pseudomonas putida chromate reductase.
Cr(VI) (chromate) is a widespread environmental contaminant. Bacterial chromate reductases can convert soluble and toxic chromate to the insoluble and less toxic Cr(III). Bioremediation can therefore be effective in removing chromate from the environment, especially if the bacterial propensity for such removal is enhanced by genetic and biochemical engineering. To clone the chromate reductase-e...

R. Sathya, and P. Sankar* Abstract In general, heavy metals are systemic toxins with specific neurotoxic, nephrotoxic and phototoxic effects. Heavy metals can directly influence behaviour by impairing mental and neurological function, influencing neurotransmitter production and utilization and altering numerous metabolic processes. As with any other cleanup technology, the success of bioremedia...
متن کاملRemediation of Chromium-Contaminated Soils Using Pseudomonas aeruginosa Strain BS2
The bioremediation of chromium-contaminated soil by a rhamnolipid biosurfactant produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain BS2 has been explored through column studies using uncontaminated soil spiked with toxic concentrations of heavy metals i.e. 1000 mg/kg chromium. Results on removal of chromium from the spiked soil by using di-rhamnolipid and tap water have shown a high potential of di-rhamn...
